CONSISTENCY.

Hi Readers,

Its Wednesday so you know its game time.

So todays topic is all about consistency.. I want to motivate you all to be consistent and stay consistent by following your heart.

What is consistency? How does it fit in our day to day lifestyle? Why is it important?

So as you  may all know yes I am a qualified makeup artist, everything I know I have taught myself HOWEVER I did go to school for a year just to get that on paper, nevertheless that doesn't necessarily mean that sheet validates me in any way shape or form. In fact with or without it I would still be riding my journey thoroughly.

Now, I tend to get so often how I managed to get to where I am today. Proud, sophisticated, bright, outspoken and somewhat 'successful' now I use the term successful very lightly because trust and believe me guys I am far from my end goal. You all give me such amazing compliments on how I inspire you all to do what I do but trust me I am far from where I want to be. Matter fact this is just the beginning of what I can only pray will be a beautiful journey In Sha Allah.

If I were to define the term alone, I'd say consistency is key to effective results, mastering the stability of regularly performing an act without fail despite any setbacks. I mean after all any minor set back calls for a major come back.

Now, in todays day and age when having the urge to fulfil a duty of yours without being consistent you may never achieve just that whether that being school, gym, a career or even a relationship in that matter. Without being able to put your whole heart and more into something you want lets face it the chances of achieving your goal is slim to nothing because lack of consistency can bring on lack of interest.

People look at me and honestly believe I am full of energy, GUYS GUESS WHAT? If I had a choice to stay in bed all day and eat junk trust me that is what I would be doing matter fact I would rather do that any day. Despite how productive I am I love me a good 'ld day indoors cuddled in bed with my laptop and Netflix but lets face it, what dreams would I be achieving or would I be any closer to my goal, No?

I have my days when I don't want to even write, post on Instagram, snapchat, twitter or interact with social media in that respect because I can be lazy I'm only human eh but then I ask myself did any of these well known successful people ever give up? Stop? Doubt their capabilities? Its down to my implementation to maintain what I am doing to see result in the end; because successful people have contributed their heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears until they managed to reach their end goal and that is the main and most important aspect of things. Ensuring you invest time and energy in anything you are passionate about and sooner rather then later I promise you the reward in the long run will all be worth it... 'Hard work pays off' <--- Let that sink in, because I am living proof when I tell you it pays off.

See truth is, without being able to set a goal and day by day slowly but surely attempting to achieve it progression won't be met and goals won't be attained.

They say success happens where preparation meets opportunity. But what we lack to comprehend is opportunity is given to us freely EVERY SINGLE DAY. How you may ask? You woke up today didn't you? You're alive, breathing and capable of doing anything you desire in life. So why aren't you doing it? Instead of looking at others and envying their lifestyle go and make a lifestyle you will one day be proud of, because believe me we all are fighting our own battles and going through our own struggles but setting that aside, we are all more then capable of doing what ever we set our mind too.


You all know I'm on this makeup journey with hopes of being able to attain so many goals I have set myself, but without being consistent I have no chance in hell to reach anything even remotely close to that. Makeup to me is more then painting your face, its my passion, its my job its my lifestyle and its no walk in the park.. Struggling to create makeup looks, keep up with different looks, messing up and trying again time after time, there are nights where I stay up editing my photos and importing onto my computer then completely disliking the photo altogether and starting all over, but despite everything the most beautiful thing I keep dear to my heart is knowing to never give up because practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permeant and all my trials and errors are apart of my journey. What most of you don't know is how competitive the makeup industry is. In fact its a dog eat dog world but so long as you have your head screw on and your priorities set, tell me who can possibly tell you any different?


Consistency is key, its so so so important, because anyone can say they want to be successful anyone can have dreams but taking action and getting off your behind and actually doing it is what it all comes down too.

So my angels I leave you with this, don't you dare let anyone tell you the stars are the limit when there are foot prints on the moon.

Go make your dreams come true, life too short to be sitting behind a desk or working a depressing 9-5 job because you don't have the 'ability' to figure it out because you need to ascertain whether you want to live a luxury lifestyle or dream it.

Go make a change today, I did and its only just the beginning. I have a long, stressful, and difficult journey ahead. Today I write to you all to say I am happy, I am content but I am yet to class myself as successful but dare I say watch out for this space, I'm only getting started.
